A month late, but we did it. Everything (including my husbands £800 overdraft that I forgot about) has been paid off to the tune of 17,958.78. Debt had been higher that this, however I can only guess how high as I truly buried my head in the sand, however I would guess around the 22-24k mark.
I also have £200 in savings, whilst it is only £200, I am really really pleased!
Things I have learnt.... every penny does count, also just because you fall off the debt wagon one day doesn't mean you have failed .... just means that you are human!
Biggest ongoing change for me: I check my bank balance every day and can tell you exactly how much I have in there!
