Mortgage Queries

Hi All,

I've got a couple of questions regarding mortgages, and need some of your wisdom. Both me and my partner are looking to purchase a new build house. I am the main earner in the house hold with an annual income of circa 50k, my partner earns 18k.

My partner is a first time buyer, and I've owned a property before. Do I qualify as a first time buyer again and am I eligible for an ISA ?

I'm yet to seek any advice but was wondering how the help to buy would work on the property if we take out a join mortgage with me owning a property before.

Also I've been in my current job for 11 years and am soon to start a new job at another employer I was wondering how this would be looked upon by the mortgage provider.

Any pearls of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.

Dan
