in Cutting tax
Hi i am self employed but i only work part time. As this suit looking after the kids with my partner who works part time she employed though. My question is i have been self employed for 3 yrs and i havent earned enough to pay any tax.This also suits me! I want to know would this ever be a problem with the tax man because i only need part time money so intent to keep working part time only. thanks john

As long as you have been completing Tax Returns to declare your Self Employment profits each year and you have kept records to back those up there should not be any problems.
The only thing I can think of is that you may not be paying a National Insurance contribution and might want to look into your future State Pension entitlement at some point.I am an Accountant.
