Nationwide Loan Settlement
So I have a loan with Nationwide and wanted a settlement figure but they quoted something like £300 over the balance to settle it.
So did a look online and various people said that if you settle the balance minus the monthly DD payment that should clear it and work. I did that and the DD payment came out today but it shows a remaining balance of £73.88 (which I assume is interest added today).
So it doesn't appear as though settling the amount minus the last payment works anymore.
Called them for a new settlement figure and they want £300.
