Hi
Not sure if this is the right place to post but here goes.
My father is very ill and I am trying to sort out his pension & tax.
He has a SSAS and has set up a company to pay his pension & tax.
My question is does the company need to pay Employer NIC
I hope that this makes sense.
Regards
Graham

Who advised him? Does the company have an accountant?

Do you have Power of Attorney for your father in his personal capacity/his capacity as Director of the Company?
Who are the Trustees of the Scheme besides your father?

You would be well advised to consult a professional.0 -
The company does have an accountant but they don't deal with the personnel tax side.
Yes I have a POA to cover all aspects
I am one of the trustees of the scheme.
I started looking into this at the beginning of the month and did not realise the state the accounts were in . Each day brings more info most bad.0 -

Then avoid making bad worse - if you are not sure how to proceed, consult a professional.
