Beds on Gumtree

Does anyone have any experience buying beds off Gumtree? Like from the guys offering beds that were "uncollected orders" at discounted prices? I'm not sure what to think of them but desperately need a new bed!
Any advice would be much appreciated

There's probably nothing wrong with them. Perhaps the guys have bought them cheap at auction and are selling them on. My partner got a new Sealy bed at auction for a couple of hundred. It was a discontinued line by the manufacturer and perfectly good. Would have cost £800 from a store.
Of course if it's a divan there's always the worry that they're used, and riddled with bed bugs.0 -
Bangor Auctions have a new bed sale every month
Next one is WEDNESDAY 1st JUNE
Some of the new beds probably end up on Gumtree
