I had a Dell about 7 years ago and any problems I would phone their call centre in India and found they were very helpful. They even sent me a set of xp installation discs free over 2 years after I lost them.You know what uranium is, right? It's this thing called nuclear weapons. And other things. Like lots of things are done with uranium. Including some bad things.

If you haven't already unplug the laptop from the power and unplug all peripherals. Also take out the battery. Press and hold down the power button for 30 seconds, put the battery back in and see if it will power up.
Sometimes a static build up will cause a PC/laptop to not power on. It might be worth posting the symptoms on the Techie section should it still not power on. For example are there any lights on the laptop either on or blinking? Anything on screen? Fan noise, beeps?0
