Well he was off school again today. I think he will be going tomorrow mainly because his appetite has gone back to normal :) this has made me a happy mummy indeed.

I'm also getting behind with my work because although I can get some done while hes home its not as much as I really need to be doing.

Its really hot here today and my water butt is almost empty! Not sure if I can water the garden with out used bathwater and dishes water.... Will have to look it up.

Hope everyone is having a good day.

Cheel, just popped in to say that in 1976 when there was a drought for weeks I used bathwater, washing-up water anything I could get my hands on. I had the best yield of fruit and veg ever so if I were you I'd go ahead and use whatever water you can lay your hands on.

Glad your little one seems to be on the mend. It's wretched when they are under the weather, isn't it? Sometimes being a loving Mum is a lonely place to be. Not helped by financial worries either. I think you are doing a great job, be gentle with yourself.

Go to your chemist and see if they run a minor illness scheme ( Boots usually) and register and you can get the calpol foc

Bath water, washing up water, all fine for watering the garden. Indeed the washing up liquid will kill greenfly. Like Monnagran, this was something we did in 76. Don't bother with lawn areas, grass will always bounce back eventually

Hope the wee man is well on the mend now

Thankyou! So that's what will be going on the garden then! Baths all round now!!

Hes gone back to school. I'm not sure if hes really back to himself but also he will only have a three day week now.

I have found a tutorial for making stickers to apply to class items and candles from printed images and clear parcel tape! Might be useful. Xx

    Hi everyone,

He was exhausted, bless him! He cooked tea with me as chief helper (I'm training him up!!), and pretty much flaked our after he had eaten. Which was a shame because when bed time rolled around he couldn't drop off to sleep!!

I'm about to wake him. Hopefully he wont be too grumpy!!

I think I'm catching up with my work, just about anyway!

Looks like its going to be another scorcher. Xx

    Hello again everyone!

I'm still here! Been up to my neck in tulle (prom season!) but it all helps pay the bills.

Trying hard still. School is no help. By the end of this term ill have sent in almost £120!!

But with everything else in trying hard.

I've been tired, very tired, but I'm over due my b12 injection, which I am having tonight at the emergency hub place, only appointment I was able to get sadly. But I shall be glad of the boost.

I'm feeling a bit strange about the referendum result. Been reading the preparedness. Thread with interest. Been staying away from other areas of the forum as they seem to get a bit het up.

Runner beans have flowers, strawberries are fruiting, tomatoes covered in flower pumpkin had four or five buds!!

I did buy a top and shoes, bit didn't really need them, so returned them the next day!!! Lol!

Little man is doing great, had school trips, sports day (a second and a third bless him) and patents evening tomorrow!

    Hope you are all well!!
