Bus Routes from St Mawes Cornwall

Options
I am having some difficulty in deciphering what bus routes run from St Mawes In Cornwall. Can you catch a bus direct to either or both Falmouth and St Austell, or does it involve changing somewhere on route. Any information or help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

From St Mawes to Falmouth there is no direct bus.
Catch a number 50 to Truro Bus Station, then a U1 from there to Falmouth.
Did you know there is a direct ferry from St Mawes to Falmouth?

For St Austell you again need to go to Truro and change.

Have a look at Traveline South-West for more information.

The ferry costs over £10 return. If you want a buses that has direct connection with a number of towns it is not a good option. However I thought St Mawes is a lovely place to stay.

    That's a slight exaggeration. ;)

I've only been to St Mawes once [for a week a couple of years ago] in Winter, when the roads are fairly quiet due to hardly any tourist traffic.

The roads aren't that wide, they meander, and have fairly high hedges with little or no verge.

Due to tourist traffic, caravaners, and slowish farm vehicles, that beautiful part of the South West is on my summer places to avoid list.
