What are the comfortable Nike trainers?

Love my old Nike Free trainers, but they are ready for a trade in. I don't use them for running, just for my 30 min walk to and from work.

What are the comfortable or favourite Nike trainers you have had?

IME Nike Frees, depending on how flexible you want or need them (and how much wadding you want under your feet) the depth of the sole varies from 1 to 5.

3 or lower suits me perfectly and teaches you not to stamp so hard when walking or running and to use your core more to reduce your impact or foot strike.
This has meant for me that by moving from barefoot style shoes like the Nike free where I had previously worn other trainers which I can only describe as Barbie mattresses under my feet, since changing the footwear I wear about 4 years ago I've not had stress fractures since where I had frequent impact based injuries including stress fractures, joint pain (diagnosed as osteoarthritis) and chronic back pain.

PS, despite trying, I've not found anything as comfortable as Nike Frees but do think there seems to be a big difference to the Frees I've tried from Sports Direct compared to those bought from Nike themselves. I'd go as far as to question the authenticity of those sold from Sports Direct- they're a totally different shoe with nowhere near as much flexibility or as comfortable a shape.

How strange, might take a look at the Nike Frees. I had flex which had mesh pretty much all round, oh they were so nice. However as is usual the 2014,2015 models are now totally different fit. But the originals I did get for £25 at Sports Direct, bargain!

May take a look at Nike site now you mention or JD perhaps.

I always buy air max, nice and cumfy, it can be tricky finding a nice pair depending what your preference is on colour ect. I prefare plain black stitched shoes, not the newer style seem less shoe

Even for walking, go to a proper sports shop (not JD) and get your trainers properly fitted. What's right for one person can cause a lot of problems for another.

Also remember there are many more brands out there besides Nike!

My Free 5.0+'s are the most comfortable sneakers I have. I would honestly wear them everywhere if I could. I also have 3.0's which are really comfortable but the 5.0+ are honestly the best trainers I've owned.
