Boots Opticians - NHS???

I know I can get the kids and my test done under NHS(have a cert via CTC) but do they do the NHS voucher things for glasses as well?? Not very clear on their site.

  • you don't need CTC, everyone under the age of 16 (or under 19 and in full time education) gets a free sight test, 1 per year for under 16s, every 2 years after that.

    they will also receive a voucher (GOS3) towards the cost of their glasses if they need them, the value of the voucher depends on their prescription but i work for specsavers and i know that kids can generaly get their glasses completely free. if they have a strong prescription and you want to pay for thinner lenses it works out about £25.
