in Cutting tax
Any help would be much appreciated.
I'm a service engineer based from home however work in temp locations in a 100 radius.
I recieve no lunch allowance and am out of the house 9 hours. I generally buy lunch whilst out.
Is it possible to claim anything back for this or is this wishful thinking ?

Make and take your own sarnies. I've been doing it for years.
I very much doubt that you can claim for lunch. you would still have to provide it if you worked 5 miles away.
ETA
No chance of subsistence unless staying away overnight

There is no need to stay overnight. That's just an example, it says "such as".

Op you can't claim it back but can claim tax relief. You'd need to keep receipts.0 -
