Conveyancing Direct Property Lawyers - Appointed by Nationwide

Hello all,
I just thought I'd share my experience with "Conveyancing Direct Property Lawyers" of "St Leonards on Sea" with my Remortgage.
Nationwide have been excellent with my new mortgage, however the conveyencer they appointed has been shambolic.
They fail to respond to emails entirely, including my email to confirm they received my £4000 payment to them.
Failed to use the LMS tracker they said they would use to keep both parties upto date with the progress of the conveyencing service.
They issued numerous requests for information that they forgot to request initially, such as marriage certificates and consent forms.
They also failed to recognise receipt of information from my previous mortgage company in a timely manner, an example is NRAM sent out a redemption statement to the conveyencers, and a copy to me. Conveyencing direct took 8 working days longer than myself to recognise this had arrived.
I understand this company should be privelaged to be appointed by Nationwide. The additional time wasted has cost me around £300 in additional interest with previous lender.
