Back in January Dixons Carphone announced that 130 stores would be closed. As a consequence each is / will be expected to have a clearance sale.
Discounts start at 20%, some then go to 30%. I've seen the remaining products switched to 30% when the phone call was cascaded to the branch. With further discounts promised for anything left.
Note that the best stuff will be shifted elsewhere before the clearance and, as ever, products could be cheaper elsewhere even after the 30% discount. As an example one SatNav was still cheaper at Halfords despite the 30% reduction! Reviews may explain why individual products are in the clearance.
Helpfully their store locator mentions if the store is closing soon.

In my example store the day before closure the reduction went to 40% then 50% on the last day.
But I found it crucial to check the product reviews to clarify why the product was still there then.0
