Boosting deposit

Hi,
We're needing to boost our deposit by about £1000 as we have decided on a different house on a new build development.
We can afford to bung this in to our savings this month from our normal salaries (by tightening our belt further of course) but it will be much more than we have normally saved in previous months.
Is this spike in funds likely to pose a problem at all?
Thanks

There's nothing unusual about saving money.0

As long as you can prove source of funds then I don't see why you'd think it would?0

If it was one hundred thousand, or perhaps ten thousand, most likely. But one thousand? No.
That wont even cover your stamp duty, legal fees, moving costs. Its not a big sum.0
