I don't think I'm being harsh. My father was repaying them for years, and they just kept offering him more and more money. He was just as irresponsible to be honest, he just kept accepting it, but if you've ever lived in a cold home with no food and leaking shoes because your father has just given his last £20 to the provident lady (again), I'm sure you'd understand my hostility towards them.0
