Morning all,
Just after a little advice as this is all new...shall start from the beginning.
I got offered a AIP with natwest..fab, found perfect house, offer accepted! Upon mortgages application it was declined, advisor suggest a good broker to use...so off I go to him.
I have a 10% deposit for a house of £170,000, earn reasonably well £48,000 a year...on paper all looking good. Broker suggested would get a mortgage with a 85% LTV which I can quite raise at this time! After a bit of digging I had a default from 4 years ago that I wasn't aware of...turned out I still owed 0.6p on this account! Which has now been satisfied! And I wasn't on the electroal roll...which has now been sorted aswell!
So today broker has sent application to underwriters....I have absolutely everything crossed that it goes through....what do you think my chances are?
Also yesterday received a letter from natwest regarding our first meeting stating she had now sent my application to underwriters!!! I was informed this application was declined would she have just sent this letter out as standard?! There is no mark on my credit file from her previous search and our meeting was over 2 weeks ago so why is she sending this now?!?
So for rambling so confused and stressed by all of this

Lack of electoral roll history won't help your cause. As this knits your credit history together. Without same there's uncertainty. Your broker is best placed to advise you. As they have full visibility of your current circumstances and history. Therefore being best placed to direct you to a lender who will consider your mortgage application.0
