:rotfl:So, went to the green grocers and bought lunch for 48p! Might not be a NSD but certainly is a small spend day:rotfl:
  • So the June NST challenge begins!

Haven't been able to get to a computer for a couple of days but the good news is that no major spending has occurred! Yesterday, 1st June was a NSD - even though I was working in the centre of London and didn't take any lunch with me! Made the most of a late breakfast at home, the free coffee and then leftovers and veg that I had in the fridge for dinner.
Today I will have to buy lunch but after managing to get a good lunch on Tuesday for 48p I'm positive it won't be a £6 jobber at the caf! :)
Dinner tonight at my folks' which is ace as I need to do a shop. Going to try Aldi/Liddl at the weekend as everyone raves about them so much. And I will set a budget. Normally, although I don't thrown everything I see in my basket, I never set a budget. This means I often buy more than a week's worth of food. I am good and mindful of using everything up in the fridge but a list and a budget will definitely make me spend less.
Hope everyone is having a positive NS Thursday - despite the weather!

Great Diary Dramaqueen, Ive subscribed. I've just started my own diary which I'm hoping will really help.
I think mindfulness is really important and just writing down what your buying, spending, doing with your money makes you automatically take more care.
I've started a spending diary as well which hopefully will stop the silly spends here and there which soon add up. Off to see if I can join some of the challenges :)
Started Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.
Working hard to get rid of our debt.

Hey Julie67! Thanks :) Check out the NST challenge - shouldn't think it's too late to join. I agree about writing everything down. I've recently downloaded a budgeting app to try and help keep a track of everything. I get paid mid-month so will get into it properly on pay.

Good luck with your journey X
