New car lease and mortgage

I'm planning on signing up for a Golf R lease this week. However I've just remembered my mortgage is up in December. I plan on remortgaging to a different bank as I want an offset mortgage. The car lease is easily affordable however I've read banks are more strict now so I don't want the lease affecting my chances of remortgaging.
When I sign up for the lease the lead time for the build is 4 months. Does the total lease amount show up in my credit file right away or just once I start making the payments? I think I can arrange the new mortgage up to 6 months in advance so just trying to plan application dates as best as possible.
Thanks!

the full contract amount will showDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

3 months is a more normal lead time for remortgaging.0

I have a Mercedes C63 on PCP however I pay for it out of my business before my net profit. Had to get it manually underwritten but getting there now.
Guess it all comes down to affordability in the eyes of the bank; not you.0 -

I have two cars in my name and was no problem in mortgage application just had to show agreements.
My credit score shows both cars outstanding balance (which is a large amount)0 -
