Moving abroad - where to get tax advice

Options
Just wondering whether anybody might have any recommendations where to get some good ex-patriate individual tax advice.

I am potentially moving to Amsterdam and need to work out how it affects my tax position. As a guide to my concerns I am 39 and have:

- a flat in London which I could let out, or sell (or let out and sell later);
- an ISA holding various unit trusts carrying a fair amount of accrued gains over the last 5/6 years;
- a SIPP holding the same unit trusts, but with small accrued losses as I recently sold most of the holdings and invested in new ones;
- a reasonable amount in cash savings;
- about 16 full NIC contribution years.

The questions I have are all obviously around trying not to incur big tax charges on my investments, the extent to which the tax wrappers continue to be available post-move, tax treatment of any rental income/sale proceeds from the flat, how UK/Dutch pension entitlements would work/co-exist, etc.

Very grateful for anyone who could possibly point me to a good advisor - appreciate that it's not something on which to take (or indeed give) advice on the forum itself.

    In the absence of anything better ...

    I'd start by googling something like 'UK expats in the Netherlands'.

    I'd also ask my Dutch employer if they could make any recommendations, especially if they have several British members of staff.

    Last time anyone asked a similar question, the response was "if you intend to come back, then letting it out might make sense. If you don't, then selling it probably makes more sense because being an absent and overseas landlord isn't always straightforward."

    Two companies that forever have people going back and forth to NL are Unilever and Shell. Do you know anyone who works for either?
    Free the dunston one next time too.
