setting up xbox live account for my daughter

Options
I've been trying to set up a silver xbox live account for my daughter without success.
I've tried a number of times over the last 3 to 4 months using her xbox 360, but due to her age, it asks for adult verification. I select it to link to the silver account I created when Santa brought it in 2014, after asking me to confirm my details and supply credit card details, when I submit the request it returns an error message stating it is unable to set the account up at the moment
I've check the online connections and all appears fine there.
Can anybody help me out? thanks in advance
My £2 savings total for 2007 = £92, for 2008 = £124
My savings from money off coupons for 2007 = £67.97, for 2008 = £194.79
My £2 savings for 2009 (so far) = £130
My savings from money off coupons for 2009 = £593.08

Thanks DCFC79, I've had a look at that. Checking my account details I appeared to have moved to the United States without realising. I've update my details & will have another go tomorrow at setting up a child account. Thanks for you reply

Don't do what ? Setup Xbox live

It's perfectly fine if you take the proper procedures eg don't link a credit/debit card to the account and don't buy subscriptions via the xbox, buy all subscriptions from sites like cdkeys.

If you do have a credit/debit card on the account use a security feature eg a button combo or a PIN if you have that option.

Try cdkeys.com for xbox live gold membership. No need to link the account to a debit/credit card.
