Virgin train vouchers

Hi, I'm new to the forum, this morning I tried to book tickets for Liverpool - London with virgin trains, the price came out at £96, I have a voucher worth £85 & wanted to use it against the cost, so the fare would of been £11. I tried to book this over the phone as you can't use vouchers on line, and was told that the train & fares I was booking were not available yet I had the confirmation page in front of me on screen. I was getting nowhere trying to explain to the Indian call centre that I wished to use the voucher and ended up booking & paying £96. I have emailed them, but have had no success. Please help:(
