Started working towards being debt free in June 2014.
Took out a loan of 25k from Natwest and a small interest credit card of 6.6k to cover total debts of over 31k with ambition to be debt free in 3 years.
Pay 871 a month off the loan.
Have had a pretty horrible year with house purchase and sale falling through, but when we do move the debt being down may restrict us less.
Loan now 9.6k balance; have just paid 1k off CC as it is pay day today.
By Sept 1 loan will be 6.6k and credit card 2.5k.
There is light at the end of the tunnel. For those of you starting the journey to be debt free it does and will get better!
