I'm self employed and just went through this the other day. Firstly, they may ask for original SA302's as they're not keen on printed ones, depending on who you're dealing with. I did read somewhere though that there was some kind of agreement between lenders and the mortgage council that they should except printed and faxed ones. I had mine sent through by HMRC in just 3 working days so I'd recommend jumping on the phone to them today just in case you need them. Expect a 20+ minute wait on the phone but they send them out for free.
Your accounts won't be looked at until a few days later when they go over everything in great detail. Whenever I offered my accounts at the meeting they just waved them away but they did want to keep them to look at later. I get a feeling they ring your accountant to ask certain things but so long as everything is in order there's nothing to worry about.0 -
Two hours phone call. Sounds like fun!
What they will want depends on:
the Lender
how much you want to borrow
how long you have been trading
how those trading figures have been
your occupation
the nature of your partnership
You may need:
3 years SA302s
3 year tax year overviews
3 years trading accounts
A projection for current year
