Documents for mortgage application

Hello all, will I need to provide statements for all of my current accounts on my credit file? I have 3x but 2x are not used and the 3rd is my main account where all my salary and bills are paid in and taken out. The other accounts don't get used and will show as nill balance on my credit file. I am just wondering if I should order statements for this too? Would it be more beneficial to close them down?

Thanks for any help.

    When i went to apply, i had to provide;

    Proof of ID (Photographic)
    Bank statements for the last 3 months (Current accounts) - As i use online, i just went online and printed off whilst at the mortgage advisors
    Pay slips - They wanted 5 months worth
    P60 for the past year

    And i think that was it. I also provided a letter which stated my new salary as i had a promotion 2 weeks prior to applying.

    I wouldn't worry about credit cards, just understand what the credit limits and the minimum payments would be, with the total current balance.

    Our Mortgage advisor just wanted to see how we spent our money, and looked for any out of place items, such as pay day loans etc, and to show that we weren't constantly in our overdraft and on top of our Direct debits, hence the current account statements.

    We've just gone through this process a few weeks ago (exchanged 2 weeks ago, completing next week). I have three bank accounts and gave them statements from only two bank accounts. They asked for 3 months statements from the bank account where my salary is paid into (bank #1) and where the deposit is coming from (bank #2). I transfer money into bank #3 every month from bank #1 so they would have seen that on my bank statements.

    I only gave statements for the current account I use for salary and most bills.
    My emergency account wasn't asked about.

    If in doubt call the lender and ask if they want statements from ancillary accounts

    This will be dependent on the lender used.

    If you want to cover all bases and avoid any potential delay I'd get statements for all accounts that are active.
