I bought a Gericom 19" monitor from Aldi last week and it is superb. It is also digital as well as analogue and has a 3 year warranty. Contrast on Aldi monitor is 800:1. Dabs is 500:1.0

any idea what the response times are?
25ms are the cheapest but if you can find a 16ms it would be a good find.
Also dont read too much into the contrast ratio.A ratio too high can be uncomforatable on the eyes.
The higher the ratio means the whiter the whites , blacker the blacks.
Its the response time that important ( especially for games ETC) DVI too gives a cleaner image.
Doubt youll find a 19" that goes above 1280x1024 resolution either
This is a handy site if you looking at buying a TFT

the spec seems to suggest it's 20ms, although it does say it as < 20ms so whether that means 20ms or less than 20ms...

<20ms = 20 ms or betterMulti-tasking is a way of ensuring you don't enjoy any of them.0
