    He may get a dusty answer from MyCSP - is this not something akin to agreeing to paying your holiday insurance by instalments, returning unscathed from your hols and then demanding to cease payments because you did not call on it?:)

    Presumably the whole £8000 could have been demanded in a lump sum - he was given generous repayment terms and his widow benefited from the "insurance" for twenty years.

    And surely after 20 years he must have repaid over half the £8000 ?
