Pillows

Hi
I'm really hopeful that I can get some help/advice!
Basically, I need new pillows (again) purchased comfort zone from dunelm in November and they'd gone all lumpy and uneven by March! I suffered them for a while as I was poorly and unable to go looking for more. Approx 3 weeks ago after reading online I purchased some fogarty pillows hiwever within 2 weeks they'd lost any support they had and were also uneven!
I add that I'm the only one in bed and fluff/rotate my pillows daily and I don't have a big head! Also the latest ones are tiny much smaller than other pillows on other beds!
I'm now looking at good old M & S for pillows
Anyone recommend any? I'm generally a side/back sleeper and like a firm pillow and to be raised slightly due to asthma, should I get 1 firm, 1 medium or 2 medium?
Unfortunately I'm still not at full health so I'm limited to what shops I can go to
Thanks in advance

My husband normally completely wrecks pillows but last year we bought some Dunlopillo Super Comfort 2014 Deep pillows. They are expensive but are guaranteed for 5 years (I think). They are comfortable but heavy to move. I would recommend them.We ordered them online and had them delivered.

    Buy cheap (Dunelm) buy twice.

Get yourself into a John Lewis and see the pillows at first hand. They have side/back/front sleepers pillows clearly labelled.

Thanks will google, I'd rather go and feel before buying
As mentioned I'm limited as to where I can buy nearest John Lewis is nearly 2hrs away (each way) and unfortunately I'm not up to that yet
Both I've purchased from dunelm I spent ages feeling etc and both were labelled side/back sleepers and firm/medium latest were 'perfect for side sleepers and firm) but I swear my cushion from next is much firmer and just as big!

Dunelm sell products for all budgets Pay decent money and the products are excellent.
  • The first set weren't cheap and yes from dunelm I'm not scared to pay for good quality most recent ones yes cheaper but as the best of a bad bunch and had hoped they'd last longer and give me time to get energy back so I could get to John Lewis!

    I have one of these:

You get 3 pillows of differing sizes to put in the cover. You can experiment to find out what works best :)

I've bought Silent Night pillows a few times now from Tesco when they seem to be on offer at points in the year during Autumn and just after Christmas. I'd buy them again if I needed to- before this I had a miss-match of different pillows from different stores. I have 4 pillows so depending on how I felt I'd use a different pillow each night. I have now thrown away all my old pillows and one by one replaced them with the Silent Night pillows.

The type I've bought usually have "Memory Foam" somewhere in the title and seem to come in a variety of firmness and some are single some are sound in packs of two. They seem to hold their shapes well and I can vouch for their being comfortable.

A fellow MSEr recommended Soak and Sleep for pillows and while they are very expensive, I don't regret spending the money for some of the best pillows I've ever slept on. We spent £60 or so (various discounts and cashback available) on a pair of down pillows (Hungarian?) and liked them so much that we bought another pair 2 months later (cursing ourselves for shopping at such a 'spendy' website)!
