ok just got off phone with hmrc as SA is just saying bank payment pending, they said its going through their standard security checks , they don't need anything from me,
anyone know what this is

It is simply that - their internal security checks. They have been around way before computers (as when I worked for them ) - nothing to worry about !

I once had it explained to me that the checks are often to ensure that their own staff aren't setting up or altering records in order to generate repayments for friends or relatives.

ok thanks, only do SA for travel expenses so not much to check really lol, will keep checking each day see if its done
