Best Woman - What to buy as a gift?

Hi,

I’m breaking with the usual convention and having a best woman rather than a best man. For my groomsmen, I have ideas for about what gifts to buy to say thank you. I obviously know her very well and could buy her a birthday present if I needed to, but does anyone have any specific “Best Woman” type present ideas?

Not a best woman present but I got my mum and stepdad a plantable rose bush from gluttonous gardener on the notonthehighstreet website. I did give it to them before the wedding though!

What was the last birthday present you bought her? Will help with ideas :)

Something to keep is always nice. Is she into Jewellery.? You can get some beautiful necklaces for example but it all depends on the kind of person she is and what's she's into ...

What age is she? What's your budget? Hobbies/dress sense? Girly girl? One of the lads?

i wouldn't go with convention, match it to what she likes and she will remember fondly and appreciate :)
A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

As we are talking about a fairly unique arrangement then there really is no precedent about the type of gift.

You actually get to set the standard for what is an appropriate present for the Best Woman.

By the way, I wouldn't describe her as Best Woman to your bride to be or you may find that there is no wedding. ;)

  • Jewellery or Notonthehighstreet have some great gift ideas
  • Women basically are fond of jewelery and girly things then what's better than gifting her personalized stamped jewelry(annbijoux.com) with her initial and birthstone in it, I think she will definitely going to love it.
