I bought a bumper mixed kit of EasiYo sachets and some of them are way, way, way too sweet.

Has anyone felt the same and managed to do something useful with them whilst toning down the sweetness?

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Can you make a double quantity with a very sweet plus a plain? or use half a sachet of each?

I thought about doing that - the trouble is the sweet sachets are flavoured and mixing the flavoured with a plain unsweetened would probably dampen down the flavour a bit too much.

But, that may be the only way...

I've got one of those yoghurt makers, but I don't use the sachets. I don't like sugar in mine and all the additives. I buy a small pot of natural live yoghurt as my starter, add UHT full fat milk to the container and fill the container with boiling water as normal.

I guess if you want fruit flavours, you could add some fresh fruit to it.

Assuming you have a 1litre flask, buy some UHT milk and some dried powdered milk. Use half the sachet of Easiyo with half the normal amount of water and top up with room temp UHT milk and 50g of dried powdered milk then leave overnight as usual.

You will have a thicker greek style yoghurt with a more subtle flavour!
