Northampton Claim Form Received With No Account Info

The Mrs has received a Northampton claim form with no details of the credit agreement and doesn't recognise the account.
Can I reply by filling in the defence section saying I don't recognise the account, and at the same time send a CCA request to the DCA?

Yes, provided they are saying (or at least inferring) it's a consumer credit act debt.
It may be best to acknowledge service and give yourself 14 days extra.
The CCA request goes to the CLAIMANT
The CPR request to the CLAIMANT'S SOLICITORS

Thank you. I've done the AOS. I will get the CCA and CPR sent out before the weekend.
When filling in the defence part of the Northampton claim form should it state that the account isn't recognised and am waiting on the CCA & CPR info from the claimant?0 -

Well, give them towards the end of the 28days to respond.
Then there is a sample defence on the legalbeagles site which you can adopt to suit, but I think the example has paragraphs to cover non-response in both areas.0
