Hi All
I've posted here as its the most logical place but apologies if it should be posted on another forum.
Basically I had a regulated consumer credit product on a lease then a guy phoned me from the company I bought it off telling me everything would stay the same but when i've seen the contract its actually a service contract.
I feel the guy had lied to me as I had a regulated contract and consumer protection this one has none of that and I can't get out of it for another 48 months - can I do anything or am i stuck?
Thanks
Phil

If it is a lease contract, it can still be regulated, but it does not have the same voluntary termination clauses or early settlement rebates that a hire purchase contract would, if that is what you are referring to?0
