Post Office Money Website Errors

Hi All,

I have recently been on the post office money website to make a loan application but experienced problems with the site when applying.

Basically i am wanting a loan for £15'000 over 5 years. I filled in the application form and checked everything when i submitted the application first time i was told that there was an error and to try again.

I then filled in the form again and resubmitted and was told that my loan application was accepted but it was for £7500 over 3 years. This was obviously incorrect. I then resubmitted the form checking everything and was finally accepted for the £15k over 5 years.

I then received the forms, signed them and returned them.

A few days later i got a letter to contact post office money. When i called, they asked me the normal security questions. When i gave my date of birth they said that it was incorrect. I questioned this and explained the issues that i had with the website. However they explained that there is nothing they can do and that i would have to cancel the application and resubmit a new application online.

When i submitted the 3rd application via the website it was not approved straight away. I am now concerned that due to these mistakes i will be refused the loan.

I am certain that i had my details correct when submitting the original forms and feel like the issues on the website have now effected my credit rating and the chance of getting the loan.

Please could someone advice me what the best options are to explain the the Post Office that the 3 applications i have made are no fault of my own. Have i now blown my chances of getting the loan?

Has anyone had this kind of experience and if so did you get it resolved?

Thank you.
