Protected Trust Deed

Options
After many years of living in denial, I've bitten the bullet and signed my Protected Trust Deed. Although not a perfect scenario, I feel like a weight has been lifted.

I understand that this has a massive effect on my credit score, but not being able to take out any credit will be good for me. I have no plans to buy a house, car etc. anytime in the near future and have no dependents.

Looking forward to being debt free, have struggled with debt for about 13 years.

Is anyone else going through this process? Would love to know how you're getting on.

    Hi Leanne

Just in case you don't find a lot of folk in the same boat as you here, there may be more in the way of traffic at www.trust-deed.co.uk/forum . There are a couple of insolvency practitioners who appear to post regularly on there, as well as people who are doing or have done Trust Deeds themselves. As you've signed up for one already no one is going to be trying to "sell" you any alternative remedies now. Good luck with it.
