Scottish Power Credit Check?

Hi everyone,

My mortgage offer has come through today. When I moved into my rented flat over 3 years ago I changed the Gas credit meter to a prepayment meter for ease with the understanding that I would need to get it put back when I left the property. I have contacted Scottish Power to arrange this and they have told me I will need a credit check to go back to a credit meter (even though I've explained I will be leaving the property on the 27th May). My question is, is there any chance this credit check could affect our mortgage offer even though it's now been issued?

Thank you.

I don't think it would affect honestly. They only look at the changes such as debt or loosing of your job, when you already have an offer, so I wouldn't worry.
