We’ve teamed up with our good friends at Red Letter Days to offer one lucky reader the chance to win this fantastic prize – so why not bag yourself a perfect Father’s Day gift.
Flipside Brewery is based in Nottingham and produces a fine range of their very own signature ales. This hands-on experience is ideal for any fan of real ale and provides a great introduction to the subtle art of brewing beer. Under the guidance of an in-house expert, learn to mash in, boil, ferment and condition your very own ale whilst picking up priceless tips and beer brewing advice.
As it can be a strenuous process, the venue offers warm refreshments, a hearty lunch and most importantly, a beer sampling session as a just reward to a good day’s labour. To conclude, take away a special gift pack or mini cask of specialty beer to enjoy at home.
T&C apply. Entries close 10th June 2016.
Dates vary depending on location but usually run at least twice a week. As this experience involves alcohol, the minimum age is 18. Last between six and nine hours including time for refreshments, lunch and beer making. The experience is shared between five and 14 others. The experience is exclusively for paying participants at all venues but friends are welcome to join you in the pub afterwards. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and sensible, sturdy shoes as the ground can sometimes be slippery or wet. Please be aware that beer sampling is only permitted for participants who are not driving.
