Eurostar Ticket Refund

Has anyone had an issue with a refund on Eurostar tickets?
I booked a trip to attend a course in Paris, which was cancelled. I think that the basic fare is not refundable. They have provided me with no service nor facilities, nothing and yet I have to pay the full amount.
I've contacted customer services by email and have not had a reply.
Is not this grossly unreasonable?

When are you booked to travel?
When did you try and cancel?
What do you mean when you say "They have provided me with no service nor facilities"?
Surely they have provided you with tickets to travel and are willing to uphold their part of the bargain by carrying you. You however, seem to want to break the contract.
If I were you I would be speaking nicely to their customer services.0 -
as expensive as they are the flexi tickets are that for a reason. you can get a refund.
maybe look into the contract with your course for any refund from them?0 -
Could you still not make use of the tickets and book a hotel for the period you were there or if it was for 1 day have a day in Paris.0
