My Cube hybrid is definitely more in the mountain bike camp than the road bike camp and the tyres albeit narrower than a mountain bike are still reasonably tread heavy. I found it a bit frustrating at first but truly think in reality it was my fitness level that were the problem. A year or so on and I smash out my 9 miles. I would like to try the same journey on a road bike but the roads around here are so poor it would be punctures and buckled rims on a daily basis.Some people don't exaggerate........... They just remember big!0
