Help needed with Yorkshire Building Society online mortgage application form

Hi, FTB currently halfway through Yorkshire Building Society's online mortgage application form and they've asked for the name and address of the seller. This is probably a stupid question but does this refer to the estate agent handling the sale or the person who currently owns the property?

The owner of the property. I'm sure if they want to know who the agent was, they would ask, there might not be an agent after all.
They will want to make sure the owners actually own what they are selling, knowing the estate agents office address won't help with that

Presuming there is another question later for access details for the surveyor, where you would enter the EA; you should enter the current vendor's details as shown on the Memorandum of Sale from the EA.I am a mortgage broker.
