Tumble drier sheet alternatives?

I don't think this is quite what you are after, but I use the tumble dryer balls from Lakeland, it's a pack of two which agitate the load around, much the same as washer balls in the washing machine, they have no scent, but do leave everything nice and soft and does seem to be able to reduce the drying time required.

Mum uses them multi times too, then puts them in the back of the wardrobe/drawers as there is often scent left in then too!0 -

Those pink and purple spikey dryer balls? I have them, I love them (but they do make a racket don't they!) and I paid a tenner too.. oh well .. thats life sometimes!
I think craftynutters, that you have hit the nail on the head.
I had left the load too long in the wm - I washed and immediately dried a second load this evening and it is lovely again! Sometimes I just need to get on with it
That said, the 'garden-lavender in a bag, in the drier' experiment went well, and the load (and consequently the room) smelt lovely!;)0
