Gifted deposits and deed of trust

Anyone had an experience with putting a deed of trust in place for a gifted deposit? It would be documented that I would received a sum after the mortgage has been paid off. I'm not on the mortgage either and the lender is Halifax
Thanks

That doesn't sound like a gifted deposit. If you give the money as a gift, then you give it free and clear - with no expectation of repayment.
What are you actually trying to do? Do you want to get your money back plus interest? Your money back without interest? Some percentage of the increase of hte house's value?0 -
See the OPs other thread where it's clear what she is doing is far from being a gifted deposit plus will be living in the house. IMNSO the info provided here is misleading and replies would better made in the other thread which contains the full info.0
