Hi All
I've been thinking of buying my parents a wedding anniversary present of a painting of them both.
Does anyone know of anyone from the Fermanagh/Tyrone area who specialise in painting portraits of couples and if so what sort of prices do they charge?

shaz, I can't answer your query but would maybe suggst getting a nice family portrait done by a photographer? Sometimes paintings do not come out exactly how people would like them to (I know of a couple of instances were people have been seriously disappointed by an artists interpretation). Another possibility might be a painting of their favourite view?

Hi
If you have a photograph of them both why not have that made into a painting, try the website -www.paintyourlife.com-and have a look there.
I got this done for the wife last xmas with the kids, they even took two seperate photos and merged it into one painting. Wife was chuffed with it so brownie points for that:j
They gave a good service and a quick turnaround time, no complaints.
You can have the painting by different ways, oils, charcoal etc.
Maybe worth a look.0 -
Hi,
Like davidscot I would suggest geting a painting done from a photograph. I know someone locally (Belfast/ Newry anyway) who can do this. pm me if you're intersted in contacting them (shop local and all that)

Theres a guy in Irvinestown called Eddie McNulty might fit the bill, may live in Reihill or Forthill park.0
