TK Maxx £1 sale

  • I used to work at TKMaxx. They do this on a regular basis to clear old stock out of the way for the new.

They start making reductions after the stock has been in for over 6 weeks anyway, but when there is a lot of stock due in for the new season they start making reductions first on a weekly basis, then daily and then it goes right down to when they are pretty much doing it on an hourly basis until everything is gone.

I missed it all, as usual :o:D

I went on fri and sat - nothing - about 2 pairs of shoes, and a few bras - they even took the rail away from downstairs that said "final clearance" - so either missed it all , or they are bringing stuff out
  • in the central six one in coventry I got,
2 pairs of shorts for DD 30p each
    birkenstocks for youngest dd £2
2 kookai bras for me 70p each

a top for my mum 50p (I'll treat her to that!)

I'm supposed to be helping mum and dad strip their bedroom wallpaper today, might try and see if good old mum fancies a walk (they live not far from tkmaxx) :)

I were in huddersfield branch yesterday, got the following,

    30p givenchy sunglasses :j

    Nike 30p shorts

    Fenchurch shorts 50p

A prom style dress in coral £1

    2xLipsy dresses 1x£1 1x70p

1 Gas skirt rrp £70 down to 30p (It is beautiful aswell)

Superdry tshirt and shirt £1 each

Wish I had gone earlier, seemed to be some incredible bargains. The woman told me any of the stock that hadn't been sold after today would go to charity because the stock wasn't on there system no more. ;)
  • Went to my local on Friday and got a few bits - Friday night went to 3 other branches and all they had were items around £6 or things that were not fit to wear as they were full of holes and tears.

Yesterday went to another 2 stores and again nothing under £6 - i asked a member of staff re reductions and they said they didnt know.

So much broken stuff in the houselhold departement - Nina Ricci Shower gel 30p - had a little dribble in it. Dinner service 50p - opened box - only 3 dinner plates that were broken. Sunshades 30p-50p all broke.

Wish i had got there a lot earlier.

If there is anything left today does anybody know if it WILL go down or is it just staff that cant be bothered
  • Has anyone seen anything in Castlepoint or Salisbury? Half hour trip in different directions to each, so need to make the right descision before I leave!!
