State Pension - widows benefit

I a a uk citizen entitled in a few years time, about to marry a French lady. We will in France and will continue to do so. I I die first will there be a widows pension (or any other benefits) payable to her?

If you mean willl she get a UK pension, not unless she has contributed NICs for 10 years.I am not a cat (But my friend is)0

She wont need a UK pension, she will have a french one (and paid at an earlier age).
she will (if you marry) be able to inherit any private pensions you have. So look to fill out your expressions of wishes forms. Unless you have children to leave them to.0
