State Pension - widows benefit

I a a uk citizen entitled in a few years time, about to marry a French lady. We will in France and will continue to do so. I I die first will there be a widows pension (or any other benefits) payable to her?

She wont need a UK pension, she will have a french one (and paid at an earlier age).

she will (if you marry) be able to inherit any private pensions you have. So look to fill out your expressions of wishes forms. Unless you have children to leave them to.
