I have a CIS 25 year endowment due to mature in 2019.
Has anyone had a policy mature recently and how much did it pay out. I pay £70 a month and it was supposed to pay 40K.
I keep on getting the red warning letters and have been overpaying on my mortgage to cover some of the shortfall.
I have noticed that the terminal bonus paid has risen over last few years to around 60% of basic sum assured which is around 19K.
add this to bonuses of 6k and another 3 annual bonuses I expect a minimum of 35K.
Would you say that is a reasonable assumption ?
