Mortgage down valued by £65k!!!

Hi guys, got an update for you.
Santander instructed another surveyor following our appeal. The surveyor has valued to property at the purchase price and we now have our mortgage offer.
It seems that the previous surveyor didn't want to admit he had made a mistake hense the reasons he wouldn't over turn his original decision. We may be £330 worse off having to pay Santander for the second valuation but we are getting the house which is what matters. So if people ever come up against this again all is not lost. Thanks for all your inputs0 -
Interesting, after the consensus here was that the initial valuation was correct!
Thanks for letting us know, OP.
I hope it all works out for you.0 -
I'd be asking for the £330 back as soon as you complete. Well done for sorting it.0
