Credit check agencies and mortgages

Wonder if anyone can help?

OH has moved a couple of times in the past year and is now residing with me. He has seen a house we love and had offer accepted on it. However his credit report is showing old information - electoral roll at old address etc.
he has updated banks, electoral roll now, but from what I've been told by experian this info can take up to 6 weeks to show up on the system.

Does this mean that we have to wait until experian have updated before applying for a mortgage???

    Not it doesn't.

It does mean that a broker would be helpful to you.
