Win Sky TV For a Year

Has anyone ever won the prize of free Sky TV for a year which includes the box and and installation and already have Sky TV?

I have been lucky enough to win this including HD box and full Sky Package, however we already have Sky albeit we do not have movies or sports.

I am just curious as to how they sort out the prize and what you actually get?

I am sure there is something in the T&C's that state if you already have Sky you have to cancel your existing contract and take out (up to) 3 new contracts with them

But best to read the T&C's of the comp you won - as some of them may just add the package on to your existing contract for 12 months

We won a package and they just cancelled our payments and started the prize, we asked men who came to set up to fit the new dish because we had been having problems with reception.

The T&Cs don't state how it works and I did ask the guy who phoned me to tell me I had won as he said someone else would be in touch re the prize and they would sort all that out. The T&Cs just read:
Sky TV free for a year - a Sky+HD box, installation and 12 months subscription to to Sky's Complete Bundle package.

Mine expires this month - I already had Sky and they said that I could have a second box if I wanted one as part of Multiroom but I wasn't that bothered. All they did was removed my monthly cost so all I have been paying is my Phone/Fibre each month.
It was straight forward over the phone - just a shock to the system for next month's direct debit! - Fingers crossed for another win!!
(The lady on the phone said she had just spoken to someone who won 12 months ago and won again (!) so was pretty happy with two years for free!)

hi, when we won they put a hold on our contract which we had & started a new one with the prize win,
when the year was up, they sent us a letter to state that the prize had ended & then they just reinstated our existing contract from before.
