Nationwide mortgage adverse credit

Hello,

Has anyone had any experience recieving a mortgage offer from Nationwide with adverse credit recently? Found some older posts with mixed reviews.

We have had a DIP accepted with a satisfied CCJ that's nearly 3 year old and a satisfied default that's nearly 6 year old, both the same debt.

Thank you

I have a few, to be honest it is pretty much 50/50 on whether they were accepted or not. It really does come down to the finer details with them.

It took me a few attempts to start finding where the cross over point was for them to start accepting them.

Not my choice for a broad view on underwriting generally but you don't know until you try.

There are a couple of lenders that may accept it. But it all comes down to the specifics. I have had people 3 years out of an IVA accepted with Nationwide, but then people with a £500 default declined...

The devil is in the detail.
